Inequality, pension and life expectancy
Our life expectancy has been increasing for many years, and the retirement age has followed. But does this mean that everybody can expect to live longer – and what about those who may not live to see retirement? A new study from the University of Southern Denmark, supported by the ROCKWOOL Foundation, delves into the latest results on the life expectancy of Danes and the distributional consequences of a later retirement age. Hear the researchers behind the study, Marie-Pier Bergeron Boucher and Cosmo Strozza, talk about the results in the latest edition of the ROCKWOOL Foundation’s podcast.
