The final evaluation of NExTWORK indicates that the programme increases young people’s participation in internships and networks and contributes to enhancing wellbeing and the development of a work identity. However, no clear short-term effects on employment or education are observed, although participants who do enter employment earn higher wages than comparable individuals in the control group.
