ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Housing prices in major cities are soaring, while it can be difficult to find even a single buyer for a house in a small town. Young people are flocking to large cities, while the average age in smaller towns is slowly rising. Why? What makes big cities so attractive, while many small communities struggle to survive?
At this conference, the ROCKWOOL Foundation highlights the geographic differences between urban and rural areas in terms of factors such as age demographics, educational opportunities, and housing prices—and explores how these disparities can be reduced.
